As soon as we reach 25% of our $1.35 M target―that’s $337,500―we will place our initial order for the Comp Air CA6.2 turbine airframe with Comp Air Aviation in Titusville, FL.
We hold a formal handover ceremony (ribbon-cutting, pilot training), then the Builder will supply operational manuals, spare-parts kits, support to the recipient charity.
Once campaign funding reaches 100%, we may acquire reliable, pre-owned aircraft—like the Caravan or Kodiak 900—to expand capacity more quickly and cost-effectively.
Yes—when we reach full funding, donors may recommend approved 501(c)(3) partners. Our Board vets all suggestions to ensure mission alignment.
Comp Air Aviation operates two facilities in Brevard County, Florida—Titusville and Rockledge—where their turboprops are manufactured and assembled.
From order to “ready-to-fly,” the build, customization (medevac gear, float options), FAA inspections, and flight-testing take about 8–10 months.
Builder outfit each CA6.2 with reinforced cargo floors, roll-in medevac equipment, advanced avionics, and optional float kits for water operations.
Additional funds will enlarge our fleet—either donating more Comp Air turbines or purchasing used Cessna Caravans or Kodiak 900s for medevac and cargo missions.
Extra Wings Corp is incorporated in the State of Florida (USA) as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; our Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws are on file in St Petersburg-Pinellas County.
